The Magic Lantern is a 50 minute conceptual DVD. The backstory is the magic lantern a 15th century device for projecting images.  It reached its technological zenith in the late 19th century before being replace by the motion projector.  It was used as demonstration of power and knowledge and to subjugate the uneducated.
